The class recently practiced math facts using terrific websites designed to help them "master the facts".

Dr. Dyer visited our second grade class to talk to the students about his Native American presentation. Dr. Dyer travels frequently to many parts of the world and brings back interesting artifacts. The children love listening and taking part in hands-on activities! Dr. Dyer will be returning in the spring to talk to the second graders about folktales.

Second graders have been collecting weather data and now can transfer their data to spreadsheets. All this is done using laptop computers and a smart board.
