Here is what we are studying this month in room 215  

Reading:  We continue working on reading strategies for Reader’s Workshop, which this month includes Characteristics of Informational Text as well as reviewing Story Elements (character traits, plot, setting, and theme), which helps in comprehension.

Grammar: We are working on adjectives, nouns, and capitalization this month.

Writing:  Writer’s Workshop is helping us to work on our writing stamina and “Editing as We Write.”  We are writing our Informational Text on subjects we are experts on!

Math: We are beginning Unit 3, Operations!

Social Studies: We are learning about the Wampanoag, Pilgrims, and the 5 physical regions of Massachusetts.

November 21st  - Early Release

November 22nd & 23rd Thanksgiving Break. (No School)
